Digital Photo Printing
Can I crop and edit digital photos when printing them from stores?
I would like to get my photos printed from a store instead of my computer so that they are a better quality. However, some of my photos need to be cropped. Can I do this at the kiosk at the photo center, or do I have to do this at home before printing at the store?
Most store kiosks allow basic manipulation of photos prior to printing them. Cropping would be the number 1 basic manipulation. Many stores now offer you the ability to submit your photos on their website… allowing you to do the cropping, basic exposure and color correcting, etc. using their web-based interface.
Check with the website of the store you plan to use to print your photos. For example, if you have Costco membership, go to costco.com — this is the easiest way to submit your photos and you won’t have to wait for your photos… they’ll be ready when you get to the store.
