The CanoScan 9000F has evolved from the Canon CanoScan 8800F and boasts a number of new improved features to boost its productivity. Quality has been enhanced to include a 9,600 x 9,600 dpi CCD sensor, providing unsurpassed reproduction with incredible detail capture. The 48-bit colour depth ensures exceptionally accurate colour rendition and images suitable for enlargement and high-resolution printing.

This CanoScan 9000F is also capable of handling the Film-scanning with the built-in film adapter. This can scan 12×35 mm fillmstrips and 4x mounted slides, whether it is positive or negative. This unit also supports 120 format film amazingly.

Still, the Canon Canoscan 9000F is integrated with the advanced Film Automatic Retouching and Enhancement Level 3 Technology – or we can simply say it as FARE Level 3. This technology will help us in restore scratched, damaged, dusty, and faded film with ease using the infrared light that scans for physical defects on the film surface.

Its companion, namely QARE, will automatically restore damaged Photo Prints. Operating Canoscan 9000F can be done effortlessly with the support of 7 EZ buttons.
