Equipment for Wedding Photos

Introduction

In this article I shall be explaining some of the different equipment that can be used to shoot wedding photographs and to help you on your way to becoming great wedding photographers.

Get yourself a high quality camera!

When you are about to undertake such and important job such as taking someones wedding photos you need to ensure you have a great quality camera and all the kit to go with it! “But where do i find £1000, I only have £100!” – The answer, rent one! Many local Camera Shops have bodys, lenses and all the other kit you will need to enable you to get all the best shots on the day. They will also offer discounts usually to entice you for multi-day rental, “But I only need it for that day” DUM DER, incorrect – You need to ensure you know how to use The Camera and have had plenty of practice with the camera you have just rented, as every camera is different you will need to get used to it, for some people that can mean a short time of say 1hour, others may need weeks if not months and still not get it just how they want it. If there are no local shops around you that offer this, have a look around the web, there are many companies that do rentals based on couriers and you send it back at the end of the rental, some of these companies are also cheaper to as the website is cheaper to own and operate that a shop based business.

Ok, I’ve got a camera!

The list doesn’t stop there! You will most likely need – Lenses, Flashes, Umbrellas, Light stands, flash triggers, battery packs/chargers, camera bag, gaffer/duct tape in black and white.

Lenses

Ensuring you have a good selection of lenses to use for your shots allows you to be versatile and be able to get the ‘perfect’ shot that captures the moment. There are a wide selection of lenses on the market and any camera/Photography Shop assistant should be able to help you find the lense just right for the shots your customer wants. Speak to the customer/client before going to get the camera and lenses and find out what style of shots they want for their photographs and scout the location out prior to allow you to get lenses that capture the scene, target and landscape perfectly.

Flashes

To allow you to get the best shots in the dark environments (the first dance & the end of the day shots for example) you will need to ensure that you have flashes for use on your camera, either powered via umbrella based flash systems or via slot on flashes powered by the camera.

Batteries

Ensure you always have spare batteries and power packs. If you are not used to shooting with flashes normally then also be aware that any flashes powered via a camera will affect the battery life of the unit so be prepared!

Camera Bag

If you are used to having you camera around your neck on a strap and taking the occasional shot then the chances are you will not have a dedicated camera bag and equipment bag. To ensure that you have all your equipment invest or rent a large sized camera bag or bring a camera bag and equipment bag to ensure all your gear is protected and organised in the event of urgency.

Tape

This sounds so cliché but having tape around is useful, from stopping a vale blowing and flapping around in the wind to holding the best mans bow tie together, tape is always useful so ensure you have some lying around incase of emergency.

The Reeler by Spectrum Diving Equipment

The Reeler by Spectrum Diving Equipment

$239.99

REEL EASY REEL SAFE Using a dive reel is now easier and safer than ever before. Tangles and line tending are eliminated, which reduces stress and allows you to focus on your dive instead of your dive reel. The patented design also puts more line in less space HOW IT WORKS The Reeler has a line tensioning system that tensions the line, and the line leveler wraps the line neatly on the spool. These systems together allow for 67% more line. This in combination with using braided Dacron line lets us make our reels smaller than previously possible, allowing for more line in a smaller reel. We also implemented an adjustable spool drag. This puts tension on the spool preventing freespooling. For the first time divers that never used a dive reel will be able to enjoy a dive while using one. The Reeler truly solves all the problems associated with using a dive reel

How to Strategically Evaluate Argentina. Perhaps the most efficient way of evaluating Argentina is to consider key dimensions which themselves are composites of multiple factors. Composite portfolio approaches have long been used by strategic planners. The biggest challenge in this approach is to choose the appropriate factors that are the most relevant to international planning. The two measures of greatest relevance to earth moving equipment are “latent demand” and “market accessibility”. The figure below summarizes the key dimensions and recommendations of such an approach. Using these two composites, one can prioritize all countries of the world. Countries of high latent demand and high relative accessibility (e.g. easier entry for one firm compared to other firms) are given highest priority. The figure below shows two different scenarios. Accessibility is defined as a firm’s ease of entering or supplying from or to a market (the “supply side”), and latent demand is an indicator of the potential in serving from or to the market (the “demand side”). Framework for Prioritizing Countries. Demand/Market Potential Driven Firm. Relative Accessibility. Accessibility/Supply Averse Firm. In the top figure, the firm is driven by market potential, whereas the bottom figure represents a firm that is driven by costs or by an aversion to difficult markets. This report treats the reader as coming from a “generic firm” approaching the global market – neither a market-driven nor a cost-driven company. Planners must therefore augment this report with their own company-specific factors that might change the priorities (e.g. a Canadian firm may have higher accessibility in Canada than a German firm). Latent Demand and Accessibility in Argentina. This report provides a detailed overview of factors driving latent demand and accessibility for earth moving equipment in Argentina. Latent demand is largely driven by economic fundamentals specific to earth moving equipment. This topic is discussed in Chapter 2 using work carried out in Argentina on behalf of American firms and authored by the United States government (typically commercial attachés or similar persons in local offices of the U.S. Department of State). I have included a number of edits to clarify the information provided. Latent demand only represents half of the picture. Chapter 2 also deals with micro-accessibility for earth moving equipment in Argentina. I use the term “micro” since the discussion is focused specifically on earth moving equipment. Chapter 3 is also a stand-alone report that I have authored. It covers proxy pro-forma financial indicators of firms operating in Argentina. I use the word “proxy” because the provided figures only cover a “what if” scenario, based on actual operating results for firms in Argentina. The numbers are only indicative of an average firm whose primary activity is i

How to Strategically Evaluate Russia. Perhaps the most efficient way of evaluating Russia is to consider key dimensions which themselves are composites of multiple factors. Composite portfolio approaches have long been used by strategic planners. The biggest challenge in this approach is to choose the appropriate factors that are the most relevant to international planning. The two measures of greatest relevance to broadband equipment and services are “latent demand” and “market accessibility”. Latent Demand and Accessibility in Russia. This report provides a detailed overview of factors driving latent demand and accessibility for broadband equipment and services in Russia. Latent demand is largely driven by economic fundamentals specific to broadband equipment and services. This topic is discussed in Chapter 2 using work carried out in Russia on behalf of American firms and authored by the United States government (typically commercial attachés or similar persons in local offices of the U.S. Department of State). Latent demand is largely driven by economic fundamentals specific to semiconductor production equipment. This topic is discussed in Chapter 2 using work carried out in Taiwan on behalf of American firms and authored by the United States government (typically commercial attachés or similar persons in local offices of the U.S. Department of State). I have included a number of edits to clarify the information provided. Latent demand only represents half of the picture. Chapter 2 also deals with micro-accessibility for semiconductor production equipment in Taiwan. I use the term “micro” since the discussion is focused specifically on semiconductor production equipment. Chapter 3 is also a stand-alone report that I have authored. It covers proxy pro-forma financial indicators of firms operating in Taiwan. I use the word “proxy” because the provided figures only cover a “what if” scenario, based on actual operating results for firms in Taiwan. The numbers are only indicative of an aver

How to Strategically Evaluate Thailand. Perhaps the most efficient way of evaluating Thailand is to consider key dimensions which themselves are composites of multiple factors. Composite portfolio approaches have long been used by strategic planners. The biggest challenge in this approach is to choose the appropriate factors that are the most relevant to international planning. The two measures of greatest relevance to medical equipment and supplies are “latent demand” and “market accessibility”. 3 Legged Thing X4 Eric Evolution 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod System with AirHed 1 Black – Black

$324.9

The X4 Eric features a unique double section ten-core carbon fiber centre column, which provides functionality beyond the scope of ordinary tripods:1: It enables extension of the tripod to the maximum height of 2.1m (7ft) which is perfect for using with off camera flash, as the added height gives the user greater versatility.2: When the extended column is use with the legs retracted in position 2 (55 degrees), this is known as tri-mono mode. Tri-mono mode enables photographers shooting with larger lenses to stabilise their equipment, without having to hold it up, which further enables them to go to a second camera without having to put the main set up down on the floor.3: When used with the column inverted, and the legs in position 2, fully extended, the user is able to lower your camera to the floor for macro photography, whilst retaining a large working area underneath the legs. The mounting point at each end of the column further allows for the user to add a laptop platform or iPad bracket, so that they may shoot tethered, which negates the difficulty of working with an inverted screen.

 300 / 3414 Panoramic Head - Supports 30.9 lb (14 kg)

300 / 3414 Panoramic Head – Supports 30.9 lb (14 kg)

$209.99

The 300N allows the photographer to take sequential constant-angle shots around a single axis, an essential part of achieving accurate and easy-to-stitch panoramic compositions. The set positions of the 300N give ample choice of rotation angle and also of the number of photos needed to complete a 360 degrees pan. It covers the most common requests of panoramic photographers depending on the camera/lens equipment used. To make angle selection easier, a click-stop selector screw is included and attached to a safety cable to prevent it from being separated from the head and getting lost. The 300N also comes complete with a secondary locking screw which stops unwanted or accidental rotation of the head when heavy or off-center equipment makes it less balanced or when the head is used for non-horizontal rotation. The 300N can also be used as a turntable base for object panoramas, or as a means of reading the angle of rotation of camera pan movements in a range of photography. A camera can be mounted on the panoramic unit by adding one of a range of quick release, sliding or fixed plates or a conventional geared, ball or 3-way head.
