Which of these Camcorders should I buy?

I’m what you call a starter videographer–still learning the craft but knowledgeable enough to get jobs. Currently I have a job lined up for the summer filming a promo video for a small company. The CEO has given me a budget of $1200 with which to buy a New Camera (somehow my little $120 sony camcorder just doesn’t cut it), so I’m shopping around. All I can say is thank goodness for ebay!

I would go for the DVX100B 3CCD. mainly because its a 3 CCD image system; 24P/30P cinema mode. it has a super Wide-angle zoom lens perfect for small-room shooting, close-ups etc. It has a awesome picture, Its what Panasonic call “Optimized color separation optics help provide true-to-life colors” Only downside is a Mini DV tape..these days were going to HDD drives. although they cost a little more.
